Our 16th Annual Swing into Spring Fundraiser was held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Andover Country Club. Each year we are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for our fundraiser. From our Sponsors and Advertisers to our auction donors and attendees – we are grateful to you for your steadfast support and continued friendship.
This year we were honored to have Kendra Petrone serve as our Master of Ceremonies, and to welcome Aricia Symes-Elmer as the host of our first ever Couture for a Cause Fashion Show. George Navin, Co-Founder and Director of Pass It On, Inc., was the 2017 Children First Award Recipient and Lenard and Delphine Zohn, Founders of Autism Eats, were the 2017 Community Service Award Recipients.
The Couture for a Cause Fashion Show featured local clothing stores-- Mini Emporium, Dresscode, Sole Amour, and Chic Consignment. Elyse Jewelers provided jewelry that was worn at the Academy Award for attendees to try on and be photographed wearing.
The proceeds of the Swing into Spring event have a direct and immediate benefit to the 2,000 children and families we serve annually as they help us to expand our access to therapeutic equipment, make enhancements in our classrooms, and invest in additional professional development for our staff. This year we were able to fund the purchase of twenty fully equipped iPads for use across our agency, including in our newly created Communication Connection program.
From everyone at The Professional Center for Child Development, thank you and we hope to see you next year!
